Aura BLCS Hotel and Dining Room is Number One for service and hospitality in the fly-in community of Baker Lake, Nunavut. Our guests enjoy well appointed rooms with comfortable queen-size beds, private baths, satellite tv and wifi, as well as access to two spacious guest lounges and our onsite restaurant. Airport shuttle and onsite vehicle rentals make it even easier for our guests to enjoy their visit to the geographical centre of Canada.
Aura BLCS Hotel and Dining Room is wholly owned and operated by BLCS Ltd, a Baker Lake institution since 1984. Our main hotel building, located at 2033 2nd Street, was custom-built by BLCS in 2010. It features 12 guest rooms and two spacious guest lounges on its upper level. The main floor houses our Aura Dining Room, teleconference-equipped boardroom, and the administrative offices of BLCS, Ltd. Additional guest house/condo rentals are located within a short walk.
