In 2013, BLCS founders and operating partners Allan and Joyce Lahure were proud to accept two Frozen Globe Awards on behalf of the company: “Best Nunavut Entrepreneur” and “The North’s Top Entrepreneur.” The awards were presented by Peter Taptuna, then Nunavut’s Minister of Economic Development. The Frozen Globe Awards are sponsored annually by Up Here Magazine, to honour the best of Northern business.
